DAY 2 | FREE DAY
Give yourself a free day to recover from the long journey and savor the atmosphere of Ubud at your own pace. The Ubud area has always been considered a spiritual destination by the Balinese. The name Ubud it self derives from the word ubad, meaning medicine, referring to the healing properties of traditional plants that grow in the jungle. Ubud is the spiritual center in the heart of Bali, a refuge for those seeking peace and inspiration from the arts, culture, dance, and music. Among the activities you can enjoy on your own: visit the Sacred Monkey Forest or Ubud Palace, wander among the stalls of the traditional Ubud market, watch a traditional Balinese dance performance at the Royal Palace, or indulge in a relaxing Balinese massage at one of the many spas for which Ubud is famous.
